Installation
Where will the product be installed?
MaDaM can be installed in several ways, depending on your needs.
You can e.g. install it on your premises either on Windows or on Linux. Furthermore on Linux you have the option for running the product using Docker. You can also run the product in your own virtual private Cloud.
Where are the files for jBEAM and Manual Importer stored?
For efficiency, the Quickstart application runner downloads and caches application artifacts and resources on the user’s local computer.
By default, the files are stored under C:\<user_name>\.ams-cache and are grouped in sub directories depending on the application they belong to, e.g. <xy>-Importer-2.6.4.1 for the manual importer application.

Please note, that the directory .ams-cache is a so-called dot-file (it’s name starts with a dot) which causes the folder to be hidden on some operating systems.
