Data Import

How can I automatically import data?

In section Automation you can create so-called jobs for importing data. Make sure to

• select all necessary import configurations created using the manual importer application

• enter an import location the MaDaM service has access to (e.g. a directory shared over the network)

• select a role that has permissions to create Tests of the given type

• set a suitable interval for performing the job

Is it possible to clean up files after import?

Yes, for automatic imports you can display a checkbox for that by selecting More Fields → Remove Files in the top right corner, activating the check box and finally saving the import job.

If the import was successful, the original files we be deleted from the source location.
