MDF Importer with new Option

The MDF importer offers a new option for string channels. Up to now the importer configured the basic string set with all possible strings as stored in the MDF file format. With the option the basic string set can be reduced to the strings actually occurring in the file.

Import via Drag&Drop in Cross Table

When selecting import data via cross table, it is now possible to add import files easily via Drag&Drop. This functionality is available in the Visual Signal Editor and the Grouping Channels conversion.

Improved Initial Settings of Universal Signal Filter

The cutoff frequencies in the Universal Signal Filter are now predefined with reasonable initial values. When changing between different filters the filter configuration is adopted, making it easier to compare the filter effect.

Non-Blocking Preview of Visual Signal Editor

The processing of the preview in Visual Signal Editor no longer blocks the dialog. The dialog remains accessible for new parameters and options and the preview stops or starts anew immediately.

Spectrogram Enhancements

The Spectrogram has been enhanced by various functions. The initial settings for e.g. axes, title and legend now create a more reasonable image without tedious adjustment. The new color scheme enables practical scaling of the spectrum. The resolution of frequency and time can now comfortably be controlled via sliders with immediate preview. For the axes, time or revolutions can be selected for one axis and frequency or order for the other. They can also be flipped via button.

Scaled Colors with Relative Values

For defining color ranges e.g. in Spectrogram or Characteristic Maps, it is now possible to set relative values. This is especially helpful when the magnitude and distribution of values is not known in advance.

Detailed Curve Information on Mouseover

In the Universal 2D Graph, detailed information on the curves can be displayed on Mouseover and Shift key. Thus, signals can be assigned to their producer or source file more easily.
