Spectrogram Enhancements

The Spectrogram now includes an order analysis and special cursors for frequency and order. Cuts can be generated at definable frequencies or orders. Another option enables to calculate statistical values for all time or speed ranges. The results can be published so that they can be used by other components.

Improved Initial Appearance of Curve Graphs

The initial appearance of graphic elements has been improved by applying a new color scheme in line settings. Moreover, the initial line width has been set to the more suitable 1px and the background base property to white.

Block diagram: Improved filtering and tooltips

Analog to the Explorer window, the block diagram now offers a powerful filter search with buttons to configure and apply filters and to highlight the results. This can help to get a better overview in large projects, to analyse component groups or to search for errors.

Moreover, the information displayed as tooltip at the edges can now be configured similar to the Explorer tree node layout. Thus for instance, data object type and unit can be displayed in addition to the data object name.

Kistler CSV Importer Enhanced for ComoNeo

The Kistler CSV Importer has been enhanced to support current ComoNeo format. The ComoNeo measures the cavity pressure and other quantities during injection molding. The files then contain cyclic production data which is now supported. As there are various Kistler CSV formats, this importer will soon be renamed to Kistler Como Cyclic Data CSV.

Prototype for maXYmos CSV Importer

A prototype for a maXYmos CSV Importer has been implemented. The Kistler maXYmos is a family of XY process monitoring systems providing evaluation objects to define individual evaluation criteria. The prototype importer can read the measured data and a growing number of evaluation objects. Currently, the importer is not yet available in a regular jBEAM edition but can be provided in a full trial version for interested users.

MDF Importer Saves Channel Load Status

The MDF importer now offers the option to save individual channel settings in order to ensure that the initially set load status is applied even if with changing import files channels are missing in between. Besides load status, also specific channel properties (I, IT, GT) are saved in a channel setting file (.chs).

Improvements in Consistency of Dialogs

The dialogs of various graphic elements have been improved in terms of consistency. The Property Editor now has advanced formatting options as known from other dialogs. The Plain String graph received the more intuitive alignment selection field already used by other graphic elements.

Custom Axis Labels

The 2D axis now offers a funcionality to replace defined numerical values by manually set strings. This can be reached in the Min/Max scaling – advanced dialog. It can be used to add a specific meaning to certain values or to highlight events or thresholds.

„All Files“ filter for Multi File Import

The Multi File Import now offers the option to select all files instead of only files with the same extension as the currently selected file. This might be useful e.g. if the file extension is used to number files (measurement.001, measurement.002, ...).

GroupOfChannels Support for 3D Waterfall diagram

The 3D Waterfall diagram is now able to not only display matrices but also Groups of Channels. This enables to directly use data imported by the Data Source Manager. Measurements consisting of many cycles and/or files can be visualized and compared easily.

Validity Check for Event Triggered Calculations

The various components that can work in sequential mode, like AppendValues, EventAnalysis or Histogram, now actively receive an error status if the necessary action items are not selected or found. For example, the multi file importer provides via the StatCtrl result object the commands TRIGGER after the import of a new file, or CLEAR after a click on "Reset". Especially in large projects, this feature helps to ensure that the configuration of such commands is correct.
