Explorer with new options

The infinite expansion of the Explorer tree in case of recursions can now be stopped when one of the above components appears a second time. This node and its children are colored which can be set in the Explorer Toolbar Configuration. The context menu offers additional options, e.g. highlighting all occurrencies of a component in the tree.

Data Import without Dialog

A large number of importers now can be loaded via Drag&Drop without opening the dialog. Importers which do not need specific settings are loaded then with default settings. The option can be customized in preferences.

Visual Signal Editor with Multiselector Table

The data object selection in the Visual Signal Editor now also provides the Multiselector Matrix Selection. Thus, it is possible to quickly select and unselect single signals or data sources. Moreover, there are various options for filtering and sorting.

Universal Signal Filter extended by Bessel Filter

The Universal Signal Filter now provides a Bessel filter. Like Butterworth and Chebyshev, this filter also can be operated as Highpass, Lowpass, Bandpass or Bandstop and offers the option of time delay compensation.

FFT Filter with Multi Bandpass/-stop

The FFT-Filter now provides the possibility to define multiple pass or stop bands. In modes Multi Bandpass or Multi Bandstop, frequency bands can be edited manually via semicolon-separated ranges or defined by channels with low and upper cutoff frequencies.

Spectrogram and Waterfall Diagrams

The new graphic component creates 2D Spectrograms and 3D Waterfall diagrams. The data objects can be inserted easily via Drag&Drop. The dialog provides a preview and the possibility to switch between the diagram types.

Optimized Graphic Scaling for Java 11

The optimization of graphic scaling when starting jBEAM with Java 11 or later, has been transferred from the X/Y curve to nearly all other diagrams as well. The staircase effects are avoided and the curves drawn with smooth edges (antialiasing).

Internal Legend with new Options

The internal legend now offers options for hiding non-displayable or empty diagrams, similar to the legend table. For both legend types, the initial settings can be defined in the preferences.
